Experience

Prof. Yongbing Tang received his Ph.D. degree in Materials Processing Engineering from Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMR) in 2007. In the same year, he joined the Center of Super Diamond and Advanced Films (COSDAF) in the City University of Hong Kong as a Senior Research Fellow. In September 2013, he joined Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT), Chinese Academy of Sciences, and was selected as one of the Shenzhen overseas high-level talents, funded by "Peacock" plan in 2014. He has been working in the field of chemistry and materials science for more than 10 years. He has published more than 75 papers (citation: 2500) in the SCI journals, including Adv. Mater.,J.Colloid Interface Sci.,Thin Solid Film, Adv. Energy Mater., Nano Lett., etc. In addition, over 90 patents has been filed, including 25 PCT patents, 9 US patents, 8 utility model patents.

 

Research Interests

Functional thin film materials, energy storage materials, and two-dimensional materials.
