LEI PENG， PhD， Senior Engineer

Biograhy:

Dr Peng received his Phd from Computer Science school,University of Electronic Science and Technology of China(UEST),2009, and certificated by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT)as senior progammer and system analyst. He onced was the senior software engineer in Software R&D Center of Motorola Inc,Chengdu ,from 2003 to 2005, in charge of embedded software R&D for communication devices. Since 2009, he has joined SIAT，and has worked for Engineering Center, Integrated Electronics Center and Automotive Electronics Center successively, taking charge of R&D of IoT and IoV. In recent years, being the principal investigator (PI),he has led more than 10 S&T projects funded by government and enterprises.

The research interests of Dr Peng include Internet of Things(IoT), Internet of Vehicles(IoV), Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) and Intelligent Drive. He is a IEEE member, and has published 21 papers indexed by SCI/EI. He has applied for 20 patens and has 11 authorized items now. One of his S&T achivements has been transformed into a enterprise , valued at 2 million RMB.
