The Center for Internet of Things (IoT) Computing endeavors to build a high-performance IoT computing system from four main research aspects covering wireless information and power transfer, distributed networking, secure information processing, and high-performance geoscience computing. It aims to provide powerful platform support for interactive data applications, and further greatly promote IoT applications in broad areas of smart city, public safety and emergency, precision agriculture and so on. The center has established a high-level research team with more than 20 people, including a member of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and three Shenzhen Peacock Talents. The center is currently undertaking about 20 research projects, including the Chinese Academy of Sciences Strategic Pilot Science and Technology Special program (A), the NSFC-Guangdong Joint Fund and the National Key R&D Program.
