Yun Zhang, Ph.D. Associate Professor, IEEE Senior Member.

He received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from Institute of Computing Technology (ICT), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Beijing, China, in 2010.

From 2009 to 2014, he was a Visiting Scholar with the Department of Computer Science, City University of Hong Kong, Kowloon, Hong Kong.

In 2010, he joined in the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT), CAS, as an Assistant Professor. Since 2012, he serves as Associate Professor.
 

His research interests includes multimedia communications and visual signal processing, computational visual perception, and video coding.

Since 2004, he has published over 80 high quality SCI/EI papers,

more than 20 of them are published on IEEE Transactions, including IEEE Trans.

Broadcast. IEEE Trans. Image Process. IEEE Trans. Circuits Syst. Video Technol., IEEE Trans. Indust. Electronics, IEEE Trans. Indust. Informatics. Also, he has filed 15 CN and US patents and 10 of them are granted.
