JIA Fucang

Professor Fucang Jia, PhD, Senior Engineer.

He received B. S. Degree in Applied Mathematics from Beijing Institute of Technology in 1998, M. S. Degree in Applied Psychology from Institute of Psychology, CAS in 2001, and PhD in Computer Application Technology from Institute of Computing Technology, CAS in 2004.

After graduation, he joined Shenzhen Anke High-Tech Co., Ltd. as a research and development engineer, working on neurosurgical surgical planning and navigation, then he acted as project manager and department manager. In 2008, he joined Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, CAS, as a principal investigator in the Center for Human-Computer Interaction, and later in the Research Lab for Medical Imaging and Digital Surgery.

His main research interests are: computer assisted medical interventions, medical image processing, and brain imaging.
