Center for Micro/Nano Systems and Bionic Medicine

Introduction

Research center for micro/nano systems and bionic medicine was established in September 2013. Focusing on the multi-disciplinary studies on the micro/nano scale, our center is dedicated to innovative research on bionic medical artificial systems, biomedical microdevices and intelligent biomaterials, in the pursuit of landmark discoveries through early diagnostics and personalized treatment of major diseases. Current research involves MEMS, microfluidics, nanomaterials, IC design and neural sciences, etc. Excellent oversea talents have been brought to this center to establish the Guandong Innovation Team and Shenzhen Peacock Team, aiming at developing the next generation high-resolution artificial retina and relative innovative technologies. Currently our center has 78 members, including 7 associate or full professors, 13 assistant professors, 7 engineers, 27 junior staff and 25 students.
