My research interests lie in neural engineering, neural rehabilitation engineering, neural-machine interfaces, and biomedical signal processing. I have published more than 80 scientific papers in the internationally renowned journals such as JAMA and IEEE Transactions. I joined IEEE Society as a senior member since 2006 and served as an International Advisory Board Member of the Journal of Physiological Measurement, same as an Associate Editor of the IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics. I am currently employed as a Director of the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Integration Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and as a Director of the CAS Key Laboratory of Human-Machine Intelligence Synergy Systems.
