SIAT and VNTU, Ukraine Sign Memorandum of Understanding

On December 23, 2021, Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology (SIAT) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Vinnytsia National Technical University, Ukraine (VNTU), successfully signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) via online meeting. The MOU, signed by vice president of SIAT, Hairong Zheng and president of VNTU, professor Bilichenko Victor Viktorovich, will jointly promote complementary cooperation between two sides in scientific research, personnel training and achievement transformation.  

At the ceremony, president Viktorovic introduced the history, geographical location and other basic information of VNTU, and said that the cooperation with SIAT will open a new chapter of international exchanges and cooperation between the two sides, hoping to promote each other through friendly cooperation and common development. 

"Since established in 2006, SIAT has carried out more than 400 international cooperation projects and international talent exchange programs with 50 countries (regions), making it one of the most representative new scientific research institutions in China with comprehensive development of scientific research, education, industry and capital," said Hairong Zheng, "this MOU is the first inter-school cooperation between SIAT and VNTU. The two sides have many complementary advantages in computer, material science, high-end manufacturing and other fields. In the future, we can establish a fixed linkage dialogue mechanism to jointly promote scientific, technological and cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and Ukraine. We sincerely invite president Viktorovic to lead a delegation to visit SIAT."
