SIAT Publications Hit Record High in Newly Nature Index

According to the latest Nature Index issued this December, Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) hit a new record of 29.92, from 23.45 in the same period last year, ranked first and 17th among all Guangdong province research institutes and CAS affiliated research institutes respectively, and 85th in all Chinese universities.
Recently, Springer Nature Limited has disclosed its newly Nature Index Tables (between Sep 1,2019-Augest 31, 2020).
Since there is a steady increase in the quantity and quality of the science publications in SIAT, its Nature index presents a trend of keeping increasing.In 2020, according to the Nature Index website, there were 170 publications from SIAT counted into calculation this time. Most of the papers are from the topics related to life science, chemistry and physical sciences, and published in Nature Microbiology, Molecular Psychiatry, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, and Advanced Material.
By the end of November, 2020, a total of 11,000 research papers have been published from SIAT, 84 of which were published in Nature, Science and their series, and the international collaborated publications went up to top 8 among all CAS affiliated research institutes.
