Shenzhen Universiade International Scholarship Foundation (SUISF) announced the awardees list of Shenzhen Universiade International Scholarship (SUIS) on July 31st, 2018.

SUISF was established by Shenzhen government in 2011 during the 26th Summer Universiade for the purpose of promoting Universiade spirits, boosting cultural, educational exchange of international youth, pushing forward exchange and the cooperation in the aspects such as education, culture and technology between Shenzhen and World.

SUISF supports both domestic and overseas students studying in China and Chinese abroad.

SUISF receives scholarship application from April to May each year. The selection procedures of found-receiving students include students submit application materials to their host institutes, host institute recommends eligible students to SUISF, SUISF organizes experts to review students’ application and make decisions.

Foreign students who receive this scholarship come to China shall be friendly to China, both excellent in studies and behavior. The priority will give to those who from countries which belongs to the “One Belt and One Road” policy.

This year SUISF plans to support 45 overseas students receive higher scholarship than the full-time undergraduate education program in China. 8 international students from SIAT had applied for this scholarship and 6 out of them was selected as the awardee of SUIS. This is the largest number of applicants and winners ever since our students began to apply for this scholarship in 2015.
