China Patent Information Center, administrated by State Intellectual Property Office of the P.R.C. issued the Ranking of CAS Institutes of invention patent authorization of 2017 Second Quarter, Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Science was the First with 108 patent authorization, this Ranking presented SIAT’s remarkable creativity, and it was an important measure for SIAT constructing high-class Industrial Research Institute as well.

Invention patent is an important indicator in intellectual property area, has close relationship with technology development and independent innovation ability. SIAT take the measures including perfecting intellectual property regulation, patent assorting management, patent strategic layout and assemble intellectual property personnel, multiple informatization means and other cooperated methods for developing manage efficiency.

Up to now, SIAT has over 5000 patent applications, over 2000 has been authorized, and about 900 PCT. Thanks to the transfer and transformation implement of intellectual property, SIAT has accumulated over 110 million RBM. SIAT had won State Intellectual Property Excellence Award, Guangdong Province Patent Golden Award, 2016 State Intellectual Property Office of the P.R.C. Cooperative Implement Selected Test Unit and State Intellectual Property Office of the P.R.C. Investigator Practice Base.
