LV Jiancheng

LV Jiancheng was born in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province in 1965. He graduated from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 1988 with a graduate degree and a master's degree in engineering, and is currently the director of Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion (GIEC), Chinese Academy of Sciences.

He was formerly the Deputy Director of Xi'an Institute of Optical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Vice President of Xi'an Branch and Shaanxi Academy of Sciences, and the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

He is mainly engaged in precision mechanical structure design, optoelectronic product development and scientific research management. He is the subject leader of the special project for marine environmental safety and security of the key R&D program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the special project leader of disaster prevention, mitigation and emergency rescue of the R&D program of key areas in Guangdong Province. He has served as the person in charge of several national, provincial and municipal projects, and won the second prize of Shaanxi Science and Technology Award in 2008, the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2010. 2012 Outstanding Individual of Academia Sinica Cooperation, 2013 National Patent Excellence Award, 2013 China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Promotion Award (Individual), 2014 Special Allowance of the State Council Government, 2018 Shenzhen First Prize of Science and Technology Progress.
